Campus Services and Facilities
Library
The library is at the center of academic life and provides a range of services to support and enhance student learning at the campus. A team of subject specialist librarians and other trained staff provide a wide range of services to support your information needs and help you make the most of the resources available.
Radio Station and Studio
Radio Active 90.4 FM is a proven CSR unit of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). The station works round the clock, addressing social concerns and topical issues. It serves as the voice of those marginalized by society and works with major NGOs. The station also serves as training center for media students at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).
The media studio at the JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is a space for training, production, and screening of student productions. It also doubles up as a mini theater where movies are screened regularly as part of film appreciation training. The studio is equipped with contemporary equipment; both audio and video; state-of-the-art editing suite and all electronic interfaces are industry specific. The studio is air-conditioned and virtually sound proof.
Information Technology Services
Provide a comprehensive computer-based service at the IT Center with high speed internet access including Wi-Fi connectivity. There are computers in classrooms and laboratories, with a wide range of specialist applications to support study programs.
Technology-Enabled Classrooms
The altar of learning has always been the classroom but at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) classrooms are a whole new world of discovery, being equipped with high-tech facilities like high speed internet connectivity and air conditioned.
Seminar Hall
The University has an air-conditioned, built-in theatre style seminar hall which frequently used by faculty and students to conduct seminars, student club activities and recruitment exercises.
Auditorium
Well equipped with modern acoustics and state-of-the-art facilities to conduct seminars, corporate events, student activities, and general announcements for students.
Gymnasium
Students are provided with excellent gym and yoga facilities. The simple yet comfortable environment provides a congenial setting for regular exercise and relaxation. The gym sports a variety of equipment that caters to the sporting needs of the students from serious cardio-vascular workout to maintaining general level of fitness.
Multi-cuisine Cafeteria
The cafeteria is a hub of student activity, social-exchange, and youthful energy. Bustling with social life, it is also a place where students exchange crucial ideas, pool in effort and strategize on every day activities. It serves as a place for diverse interests, from brainstorming for competitions to relishing a hot cup of coffee.
Hostel Accommodation
JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) hostels offer both on campus (JGI Global Campus) and off campus accommodations (in different locations in Bangalore) for the admitted students. The residential arrangements are separate for boys and girls. University accommodations thus managed by the Hostel Management Division. Provide separate spacious accommodation for boys and girls with complete food, laundry, and recreational facilities. Warden supervision, hygiene, medical checkups, telephones, and state-of-the-art gymnasium are just some of the other amenities.
