Velammal Engineering College (VEC) is a private institution established in 1995 by Velammal Educational Trust. It is affiliated to Anna University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and also an ISO certified institution. It was the first private engineering College to obtain an ISO certificate from the National Board of Accreditation. It has a beautiful campus along with State-of-the-art facilities like hostels, library, laboratories, large lecture halls, sports place, and health care room.
