Library

The University B D T College of Engineering Library came into existence with the establishment of the BDT College of Engineering in 1951. The library shifted to the present building in the year 1961. B D T College of Engineering one of the important technical education colleges in the state of Karnataka, and managed and administered by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka. In the year 1992 Government of Karnataka handed over this college to Kuvempu University as its Constituent College. Since then college name renamed as University B D T College of Engineering.

Sports

The college has Cricket, Foot Ball/Hockey, Basket Ball, Tennis, Volley Ball, Kho-Kho and Ball Badminton fields in the campus. Apart from these, there are facilities for indoor games like chess, carom etc. Students given chance to show their ability in the house wise competitions including staff. during the sports and athletic meet conducted every year. The college has a multi gym facility with 12 stations.

Hostel

The college has Boys Hostel attached to it. It has two independent blocks which can accommodate 350 students. The room rent and service charges are nominal. The mess for both the blocks is running on dividing system. The hostel has amenities like Indoor Games, Reading room, Sports, Library, T.V. etc. For First admission, charges will be Rs. 10,500/-only. Mess Charges per month will be around Rs.2400/-to Rs.2600/-.

Canteen

A co-operative canteen is running in the premises of the college under the supervision of students and staff. It serves the needs of students and the staff at the reasonable rates with quality food, and soft drinks.
