Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering Mysore

Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering Mysore was established in the year 1983 under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha. The SJCE is a private and co-educational technical institution in Mysore, Karnataka. The college is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by the AICTE and NBA. The university has granted the autonomy status to the college for all UG courses.

Facilities

Library

The College has a library with a variety of books available for all subjects. It remains open on all working days.

Hostel

The residential facility is excellent in this college. There are 4 hostels in the college, 2 for boys and 2 for girls. Also, a guest house is available

Sports & Gymnasium

The college has a gymnasium where the students can perform fitness activities regularly at free of costs. There are also outdoor courts for football and basketball and nets for crickets.

Wi-Fi Campus

Dedicated high-speed leased line internet made available to the students 24 hours through campus.

Cafeteria

Hygiene is of utmost importance as student’s healthy body is the goal. Provide very hygienic & homely food to our students, where in they can opt North or South Indian food. Mess facilities are also excellent.

Transportation

The college has two buses with a seating capacity of 60 students used for clinical as well as community posting.

Auditorium

College have a big spacious auditorium of 3000 sq. ft. area, where around 600 students can sit comfortably without difficulty. Also well equipped to conduct the university examination.

Clubs

No holistic development is complete without the active involvement of club activities in student life. The exposure to such activities has taken the growth of students to a new frontier. Has established several clubs across all its conglomerate institutions to aid in this development. These clubs vary from nature clubs to psychology clubs to dance clubs to cine clubs and much more. Students on campus actively take part in these clubs and conduct events.
