Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Bangalore is a private engineering college in Bangalore established in 2001 by Sir. M. Visvesvaraya Education Trust. The college is known for providing quality education to the students. It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college has faculty members who are highly qualified in their field.

The annual intake for UG seats is 420 and for PG programmes it?s 132 seats including MBA. All admissions to the college are based on results in KARCET (Karnataka CET), JEE, and COMEDK (a consortium of private professional colleges in Karnataka).

Hostel

 

Separate hostel facilities are provided for both in the college campus. It has adequate high security and good discipline. Each room has an attached bathroom.

 

Library

 

Access to information is a vital key in developing the individuals potentiality. RGIT has provided a central library consisting more than 10,000 volumes of books and adequate number of journals. All the latest editions of books both for reference and text are available in this library.
