KNS Institute of Technology Bangalore

 

 

KNS Institute of Technology Bangalore located in Bangalore, is one of the prestigious engineering institutes in the country. College campus is spread on the 20 acres of land in Bangalore City. KNSIT was inaugurated by Mrs. Sonia Gandhi in the presence of Shri S. M. Krishna, Former C.M. of Karnataka.

 

 

 

Course

 

 

The institute offers 5 undergraduate courses under its BE degree. Admission granted on the basis of the candidate’s score in the qualifying KCET Exam. The faculty at KNS Institute of Technology consists of 71 highly qualified members as well as 10 visiting faculty members from the industry. The college also has a great placement record with a successful previous placement season bringing in an average CTC worth INR 18 LPA. The average placement percentage of the last three batches was an impressive 90%. The institute also provides students with internship opportunities as well as industrial visits. KNSIT offers several scholarships such as Matric, SSP, NSP to its students. The institute has successfully graduated 16 batches so far.

Classroom

 

The classrooms designed to compact so as to stimulate and encourage close interaction between students and faculty.

The matchless overall approach and open-door policy of the faculty lends an additional dimension to academic learning at KNSIT.

Today with the help of the Internet, one can easily obtain the college degree. There is a big debate whether online classrooms are beneficial or not.In this regard, there are many people who argue that online classrooms are very good. But on the other hand, many people are against these virtual classes.

 

Library

 

The spacious library houses a diverse collection of over 28000 volumes apart from subscriptions to leading national and international periodicals and journals. The audio-visual section houses an extensive range of CDROMs, audio, and videotapes.

The library serves as a rich workspace for students to do research and referencing. To facilitate better referencing, the collection has segregated into two distinct units, one for the undergraduate section and the other for the post-graduate section.

 

Auditorium

 

Built to international standards, the auditorium reflects, like everything else at the college, the commitment to provide students with the best of facilities. Equipped with full-fledged audio-visual equipment and a digital projection system, the 200 seat college auditorium is the stage for numerous important programmes throughout the year.

 

Computer Lab

Scholarships And Loan Facilities

 

KNSIT facilitates the process to get the scholarship to students under various governmental and non-governmental schemes. These scholarship facilities are available to both graduate and postgraduate students.

Students with brilliant academic records, economically poor and underprivileged students, sports students are eligible to apply for merit scholarships.
