Facilities

Library

Library & Information Centre housed in the Administrative Block & having three floors including ground floor with a two mezzanine floors, measuring an area of 2661 sq.m. There are 9 staff members including qualified Librarian working in the library, having 600 seating capacity. To cater to the needs of the staff/ students, to have easy and speedy access to the library collection, the house keeping operations of library have been automated using EasyLib software package. It has adopted open access system and maintains Online Public Access catalogue (OPAC) to provide easy access to the stacks. The library subscribes to 139 print journals and subscribing e-journals through VTU-Consortium. It has also has a collection of nearly 4485 back volumes of periodicals.

Hostel

The Hostel founded in 1984 to accommodate the boys, who come from different parts of the world. The hostel now has three blocks accommodating about 510 boarders. The rooms well furnished and the surroundings of hostel is very green and pleasant. The students who stayed in the hostel have secured 18 university ranks right from the inception of the hostel. The hostel have two dinning halls of North & South Indian to cater the needs of the boarders for their taste.

Auditorium

Modern green rooms with all facilities are provided separately. One rest room provided to meet any emergency condition. A well-equipped cafeteria is provided for food supply during the performances. Sufficient parking place with green landscaping provides an eye catching effect. Many national leaders including Mr. Rahul Gandhi and many known artists have visited the auditorium and appreciated the facilities.

Training and Placement Cell a backbone of any institute committed to develop dynamism, strong human values technocratic and good leadership qualities  The Placement Cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for Under Graduates and Post Graduates.

The Placement Cell operates round the year to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates. The number of students placed through the campus interviews is continuously rising. On invitation, many reputed industries visit the institute to conduct interviews.
