Alvas Institute of Engineering and Technology Mangalore established in 2008 by Alva’s Education Foundation (AEF), AIET is a premier engineering college located in Mijar, near Mangalore, Karnataka. Founded with the vision of providing affordable, high-quality professional education, AIET caters to the needs of the region. Academics: AIET offers Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, IT Enabled Services Engineering, and Civil Engineering. They also have a Master’s program in Business Administration. Innovation and Recognition: AIETknown for its innovative and modern curriculum, with a strong focus on academic discipline and holistic education. The institute boasts a dedicated and creative faculty, and is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. It is recognized by AICTE and UGC. Today, information is one of the most important part of our academic activities. Information also leads to the generation of knowledge. An academic institution always takes the necessary steps to gather the relevant bits of knowledge from the various sources. So we called the library is a backbone of an educational institution.
The AIET Library is a storehouse of knowledge for both teaching and , learning . Being the heart of the academic centre, it is home for all the information services an integral part of any educational institution in the world. It also plays a positive role in enabling access to information resources of all kind and providing innovative, responsive and effective services to meet the changing needs of the academic community.
Training & Placement
The Training and Placement Department of the institute has a Training and Placement Head who overlooks overall placement activities right from the design, training and execution of placement drive under the supervision of various heads of the department and its respective departmental level placement leads & coordinators and the institute.
Training and Placement Department also provide personal and career related support to the students.
