Vivekananda College of Pharmacy, Bangalore Karnataka is established in the year 1983 as Private Institute Educational Institute to provide higher education to build career in the field of Pharmacy. Affiliation with reputed AICTE and PCI. Management of Vivekananda College of Pharmacy, Bangalore is working under Prof. D. Narasimha Reddy (Principal).

SVCP is a premier institution of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in the region, approved by All India Council of Technical Education India (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The institute has covered a long and glorious journey of 11 years. In its travelogue, the Institute crossed multiple milestones and continues to head ahead towards the well-defined goals.

SVCP takes the advantage of our position as the oldest college of pharmacy in the region to offer an undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy curriculum that is one of the most innovative in today’s scenario. Our program emphasizes communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach to providing patient-focused health care.

The innovative curriculum integrates foundational knowledge in the biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences with information and skills in the clinical, behavioral and social sciences. The strong base of the institute built on by its Veterans and now bank on a very strong faculty. A good number of publications which include research papers, review articles, books, national and international patents, and number of research projects sponsored by Govt. and Industrial agencies, and academic and research awards simply convey the success story.

Facilities

Free Wi-Fi, labs are good, library are reference rooms are best place to study. Hostels are average and fees is around 50,000 rs per year. College vans are provided all over the Bangalore. Hostel food is average. Classrooms are spacious and even smart class are also provided.

Faculty: Teachers friendly, fests held every year. Many extracurricular activities to participate and get recognized in the college. No worries about the exams, semester exams little easy. Passing percentage is minimum 50%. Teacher are well qualified.

Other: It’s an evergreen course. Medicine is the basic requirement for the society.

The Institute fully equipped with the modern day facilities and instruments further strengthen by the super-advanced sophisticated instruments in the adjoining departments on the campus. Placements

Around 80% of students  placed every year. Around 3.5 lpa  the average package given. Internships should done individually. Research and working on the pharmaceuticals is the main role of the job. Many students placed in Himalayas company.

The college has a track record of placements of the students every year with the Training & Placement Cell (TPC) of the college who are continuously working with the top-notch companies. The Institute is actively collaborating with other research institutions, and with the pharmaceutical industries to help evolve novel ideas and outcomes.
