T John College of Nursing Bangalore was founded in 1993 by Dr. Thomas P. John. The college offers a wide variety of courses in over 20 departments. The most popular courses are BSc nursing and general nursing and midwifery. College has 31 University ranking students. College attracts students from all over India mostly for the Nursing courses. T. John College of Nursing has started in the year 2003. The 4 year Basic B.Sc. Nursing course is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is approved by Karnataka Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. Our campus is located in a serene lush green location 25kms away from the hustle and bustle of Bangalore city.
T John College of Nursing has got a cavernous building block which is well equipped modern Nursing labs, Audio – Visual lab with all amenities like art slide projectors, LCD display enhances and overhead projectors. A well equipped Library with all Indian and International text books and Journals.

Courses
BSC Nursing
T John College of Nursing Bangalore Bsc Nursing extend over a period of 4 academic years from the date of commencement of his/ her study of the subjects comprising the nursing curriculum to the date of completion of examination. Terms and vacations shall be as notified by the university from time to time.
Admission Criteria :
1.The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
2.The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of :
Higher Secondary school certificate Examination (12 years course).
or
Senior School certificate Examination (10+2). Pre-degree Examination (10+2)
or
An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with science( Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE).
3. Candidate Shall be Medically Fit.
GNM
T John College of Nursing Bangalore GNM referred as General Nursing and Midwifery it deals with the education of nurses in general health care, nursing, and midwifery. 3 years long Diploma program. Academic program 3 years long and 6 months dedicated towards internship. Internship mandatory. This programme will boost you in career prospects. After completing this course, successful candidates may register themselves as registered nurse or midwife with state nurse registration council.
Admission Criteria :
The contraction for the GNM course is General Nursing and Midwifery.
Karnataka GNM Eligibility Criteria
1. Successful qualification of class XII from a known educational board.
2. If possible, science subjects as the main subjects of study at the 10+2 level.
3. A total mark of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Hostel
The college has boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Library
The library in the college maintained in its best manner to allow over 100 students to sit comfortably at a time and refer to those thousands of books in the library on different nursing subjects where the thirst for more & more knowledge . Also possesses current National & International Journals of Nursing magazines on health & fitness, besides CGFNS magazines and books on subsidiary subject in the course. Has a separate 600sq. ft. area for the Helinet Online library with sufficient amount of computer systems with high configuration.
Sports
To achieve a healthier lifestyle while coping with the pressures of studying, one needs to be healthy both emotionally and physically.The campus has a number of centres for physical education and sports activities that help the students maintain fitness and develop a competitive spirit.
Cafeteria
Hygiene is of utmost importance as student’s healthy body is the goal. Provide very hygienic & homely food to our students, where in they can opt North or South Indian food. Mess facilities are also excellent with a large dining area and filter water for drinking.
Transportation
The college has two buses with a seating capacity of 60 students used for clinical as well as community posting. Bus facilities also given to interested students who attend prayers at church and temple on Sundays & General Holidays.
Auditorium
College have a big spacious auditorium of 3000 sq. ft. area, with well equipped Dias, Tables, Chairs, Music system and decoration items, where around 600 students can sit comfortably without difficulty. Also well equipped to conduct the university examination with CCTV camera facility and for conducting various programs of our college

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.
