Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre [SIMS & RC] is a medical college and medical center outside Surathkal, Mukka, Mangalore, Karnataka. The Srinivas Group of colleges was set up under the banner of A. Shama Rao Foundation in the year 1988 by Shri CA A. Raghavendra Rao a well-known and leading Chartered accountant of Mangaluru.

Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre was established in the year 2009. Besides, the institute is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. In spite of the institute focuses to deliver high-quality, comprehensive, integrated medical education. Above all it  Srinivasa medical college provides innovative thoughts towards modern technology and research. Similarly, the college offers various graduate and post-graduate level degree courses that have an excellently developed curriculum.

Likewise it aims to improve the level of education of the citizens of the country and create awareness of high-tech medical treatment in a multi-fold manner. In addition, the mission of the college is to transform society through Education by setting up an academic institution in dynamic equilibrium with its social, ecological, and economic environment striving continuously for excellence in education, research, and technological service to the nation.

In this scenario, there is an ample opportunity in serving the society especially socially and economically weaker sections of the people to provide free medical facilities by a new multi-specialty Hospital and associated Medical College in Mangalore Taluk of Dakshina Kannada District.

The establishment of a Super-speciality Hospital with over 20 departments and an associated world-class Medical College with an annual intake of 150 students for MBBS and mentor at least 20 research scholars every year for deserving candidates was a dream of CA A Raghavendra Rao, President of A Shama Rao Foundation, Mangalore.
