RV Institute of Legal Studies is situated in a beautiful campus, with natural greenery and beauty all around – an environment conducive to academic pursuits. Bangalore is known for a large number of educational institutions that offer a wide range of professional courses. There are a number of institutes that offer courses in law as well. However, increasing crime rates, disputes, and cyber crimes indicate the need for a more robust legal force to tackle the increasing number of such cases in courts. With this in mind, RV Trust has opened R V Institute of Legal Studies, with a new dimension and a unique approach towards law education.

 

Aim

 

 

  • Imparting legal education to create globally competent and socially relevant professionals.
  • To imbue students with professional ethics along with honing skills.
  • To enable students to become the exponents of justice for common man.
  • To provide appropriate academic ambience backed with intellectual and technical logistics to groom students for the profession.
  • To ensure that students get the best legal education and optimum knowledge of legal skills.
  • To inculcate values and pro bono commitment in students by involving them in legal aid programmes.

 

 

Facilities

 

 

Moot Court

 

The Institution has a well furnished and spacious moot court hall. All the students given training to participate in the inter and intra college level, national and international Law level moot court competition. The students also taken to the local courts to observe the regular proceedings and they need to furnish a report during each semester.

Library

 

The college has a vast and extensive collection of standard Law Books and Journals. The collection also includes all India reports, copies of Supreme Court Cases, Karnataka Law Journal, Journal of Law Institute, etc.

Computer Lab

Classroom

 

Spacious and well ventilated classrooms are provided to ensure excellent audible environment, and all the classrooms have power point presentations.

Seminars/ Guest Lectures

The college will arrange fortnightly/monthly seminars and guest lectures on different subjects by the experts of the various fields for the benefit of the students.

Placement Cell

 

The institute has setup a placement cell with required facilities for effective placements of students at the end of the course or after passing all the semesters. The student trained in soft skills and professional skills required.

Legal Aid Cell

 

Free legal aid is provided in the college during the college hours. The cell conducts programmes every year by selecting different villages. Students of the cell visit the houses of villagers, collect information about their social and legal problems and an attempt made to solve them by giving suitable suggestions as per the provisions of law.

Sports

 

The college offers facilities for various indoor and outdoor games and sports activities such as Chess, Carrom, Badminton, Volley Ball, Cricket, throw Ball. etc. Various Intercollegiate and State level tournaments also conducted by the institution.
