Courses

Nida College of Nursing offers a variety of programs to help you achieve your goals in the nursing field. Here’s a breakdown of the programs they have:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing):

• Duration: 4 years
• Eligibility:
  • Minimum age of 17 years by December 31st of the admission year.
  • Pass 12th grade with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with at least 50% marks (PCBE).
  • Medically fit for nursing profession.

Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PB B.Sc Nursing):

• Designed for: Registered Nurses who want to upgrade their qualifications.
• Duration: 2 years
• Eligibility:
  • Pass 12th grade with Science (PCB) subjects.
  • Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM).
  • Completed 3-year diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with minimum 50% marks.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience as a registered nurse.

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM):

• Focuses on: General healthcare, nursing, and midwifery.
• Duration: 3 years with a 6-month internship (mandatory).
• Eligibility:
  • Pass 12th grade from a recognized board.
  • Science subjects preferred at the 10+2 level (if available).
  • Minimum marks requirement: 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC).

The faculty also have pickup drop facilities between the college and their residence. In all the semesters, the observational visits of students to various organizations are arranged as per the requirements prescribed by Karnataka    The Students are also permitted once in a year to the place of interest suggested by the students.
