Courses

B.Sc. Nursing Program

Program Overview:

• Four-year undergraduate program in Nursing.
• Focuses on preparing students for professional nursing practice.
• Curriculum includes theoretical knowledge and practical skills in various nursing areas.

Eligibility:

• Minimum age: 17 years by December 31st of the admission year.
• Education: Passed 12th grade (Higher Secondary, Senior Secondary, Pre-degree) with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English, and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Medical fitness is mandatory.

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing:

• Two-year program for registered nurses seeking to upgrade their qualifications.
• Covers advanced nursing practice, research, and management.

Eligibility:

• Passed 12th grade in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
• Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM).
• Completed a three-year diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Minimum two years of work experience as a registered nurse.

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM):

• Three-year diploma program focusing on general healthcare, nursing, and midwifery.
• Includes six months of internship.
• Upon successful completion, graduates can register as nurses or midwives with the state council.

Eligibility:

• Passed 12th grade from a recognized board.
• Science subjects preferred at the 10+2 level.
• Minimum marks: 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing):

• Two-year postgraduate program for nurses seeking specialization.
• Provides advanced knowledge and skills in a chosen nursing field.

Eligibility:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) degree with a minimum of 55% marks.

Facilities

Hostel

There is an exclusive hostel within the campus for the nursing students. Students are accommodated in spacious well ventilated rooms. Hygienic food is provided in the mess. The college runs hostels for both students separately within the campus at Kadugondanahalli. The hostel buildings with spacious rooms, lounges, recreation room having colour television sets in each of the hostels, with all other modern amenities, are built to ensure comfortable stay of the inmates, and a proper atmosphere for study. The women students’ hostel, with a view to ensure absolute safety of the inmates, is fenced properly and secured.

Library

The library of this college is well stocked both journals and books with latest updated national and international journals house 6,000 books, which are storehouse of knowledge to up-date the current trends and advancement of technological development in medical technology in the field of medicine. The college offers a wide range of professional multicultural, social, sports and other extra curricular activities to unmask hidden of the students. Our library is an essential component of the institution which worthy serves the community enthusiastically, providing friendly environment. Apart from the central library every department maintains its own departmental library facility for their staff and PG students.

Cafeteria

There is a canteen and a Coffee shop in the campus. Canteen provide hygienic multi cuisine awesome food through out the day.

Transportation

The institution owns buses for transporting students for their clinical training programmes at various hospitals and community centres in the city.
