Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing Mangalore
Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing Mangalore , established in the year 1997 under the Laxmi Memorial EducationTrust with an aim to provide quality nursing education and prepare nurses with high level of professional competence. It’s one of the beginning educational endeavours of L.M.E.T , promoted by Shri. A.J. Shetty. The College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council [INC] New Delhi and Karnataka State Nursing Council Bangalore.
Facilities
Lab Facilities
Well equipped Nursing Foundation lab which spacious and well furnished with advanced mannequins which act as a simulator for practicing basic nursing procedures. The fundamental lab equipped with 7 mannequins for the demonstration of all basic fundamentals of nursing and medical surgical nursing procedures.
Class Rooms
Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing has well ventilated Class Rooms with Comfortable seating arrangements. Each Class Room equipped with Laptops, White Screens, OHPs, LCD & Public Address System
Hostel
There are 3 hostels to cater the comfortable stay of nursing students during their course of study. But in I year they stay in separate hostel . Visitor’s lounge recreation hall with television facilities , spacious kitchen and dining hall also available for students .
Sports & recreation facilities
There are various facilities for indoor & outdoor games . On the other hand , we provide proper training and coaching for the students within the campus and at special coaching centers.
Library
The Laxmi Memorial College of nursing library with its state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities provides a good academic atmosphere in extending comprehensive and wide range services . It also maintains a substantial collection of current and retrospective nursing literature to support the academic programmes of the College
