Karavali Ayurvedic Medical College and research centre established under the aegis of the G R EDUCATION TRUST is located at Neerumarga campus, Mangalore, Karnataka. Self financing institution, engaged in the practice and propagation of Ayurveda, one of the oldest and holistic health care systems of India.
Ayurveda, as most Indians know, involves the use of natural remedies to propagate healing and a healthy balanced life. The college backed by state of the art facilities, including a 60 bedded hospital, which offers treatments at the minimum costs. The college also initiated as a part of our endeavour to make cost effective and healthy alternative medicine like Ayurveda, available for all.
Facilities
Library
The college library have around 8000 books on Ayurveda and modern health sciences. Ayurvedic & modern medical periodicals are also made available. The Library with a spacious reading room manned by a qualified and experienced librarian. Digital Library with educational CD/DVD/ Broadband internet facility and audio visual equipments are available for the use of staff & Students
Hostel
The college runs separate hostels for boys and girls with all facilities within the campus. Great care taken to make the hostel a home away from home. Nutritious, hygienically prepared vegetarian and non-vegetarian food also served.
Admission Procedure
For admission to BAMS course, the candidate must have passed the two year PUC/Equivalent Examination (Listed with RGUHS) with English as one of the language, and physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects with minimum of 50% of Marks in the aggregate of the relevant Sciences subject i.e., Physics, Chemistry & Biology of the II year PUC /Equivalent Examination, are available.
- Age must be minimum 17 years at the time of admission
- The candidate who have passed the B.Sc. part I Degree Examination of any University or equivalent Examination conducted by statutory Universities or Boards with Science subject namely Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Botany & zoology and secured 50% of marks in the aggregate are eligible for admission to I BAMS course, provided the candidate has passed the PUC Examination with Physics, Chemistry ,Biology and English as one of the languages.
- NEET (UG) eligibility is Mandatory for UG
- All the admission made by the college to the first year of BAMS course are provisional . The institute is not responsible for any loss due to non – confirmation of admission by the University.
