Jagdish Sheth School of Management or JAGSoM, Bengaluru (formerly known as IFIM Business School), truly global, forward-looking and an industry-academia think-tank. With the renaming, the business school has added a crown jewel to its rich legacy and built a roadmap towards global management learning. Named after Padma Bhushan awardee, Charles H Kellstadt Professor of Business, Goizueta Business School and global thinker, Professor Jagdish Sheth. Under Dr. Sheth’s Chairmanship the business school is ready for its next big leap. A leap that’s global, industry-defining and market-oriented.
Facilities
Campus
The IFIM Institutions (Now Jagdish Sheth School of Management) Campus is spread over 2 acres of land and the infrastructure consists of a computer lab, an integrated Wi-Fi enabled campus, student activity areas such as a lounge and snack bar, 24 classrooms of varying seating capacities, three conference halls exclusively for Executive Development Programs, a centrally air-conditioned auditorium, an amphitheater, Placement office, admissions office and an administration department.
The IFIM (Now Jagdish Sheth School of Management) hostel is located in close proximity to the main campus and it has excellent boarding facilities for students. The hostel has a state of the art gymnasium, open space for outdoor sports and facilities for indoor sports.
Classrooms
The brick and mortar infrastructure consists of modern campus facilities. The classrooms / lecture halls are of varying seating capacities. The Conference Halls have been exclusively designed for Executive Development Programs. A state of the art auditorium with a seating capacity of 250 is available for conducting conferences/ seminars and events. These elements facilitate modern day pedagogy in an ecosystem which emulates the high-profile corporate design.
Library
The library, spread over 3000 sq ft area, amasses as much as 5000+ journals, 18000+ dissertation reports, more than 4500 annual reports, 381 bound volumes and more than 400 A/V resources. It maintains an online information system designed to help students flip through online journals and other relevant resources.
Labs
Labs are designed keeping technological advances in mind. With advent in technology the onus remains on the platforms to provide resources to house cutting edge tools and resource intensive softwares. The infrastructure is secured and backed up with secondary power supply, thereby minimising all kinds of technical interruptions.
Presently the Laboratory has over 130 systems (P4 Intel) connected to four different servers behind software and hardware based firewalls. Access to the internet is provided through round the clock dedicated Lease line connectivity of 6 Mbps bandwidth. The software system is run on Windows 7, XP on the desktops and the server sides are run on Linux 9, Windows 2003 server, Oracle and Windows NT 4 Small Business Server. The laboratory also has networked based laser printing for outputs. All the systems are multi-media ready and run application like, Microsoft Office, SPSS, SAS Visual Basic, Oracle and tools for data modelling and simulation.
Prabhudas Lilladher Finance Lab
The objective of the finance lab is to impart a host of practical knowledge and real world examples to complement the students ‘in class’ theoretical learning experience. Students get hands-on experience on the latest trends, tools and best practices of the industry.
The finance lab is well equipped with various tools and softwares mainstream in the industry, such as
- Trading terminal – either NSE’s NOW or FT’s ODIN
- Statistical package (Either R or SAS)
- Using real time data to execute trading strategies
- Using Financial news portals
- Trade simulation
- Analytical tool – Factset
- Excel modeling
- Technical Analysis – Metastock or F-Charts
IBM Business Analytic Lab
IBM and IFIM Business School (Now Jagdish Sheth School of Management) have collaborated to help students enhance their skills in areas of managerial decision-making and strategy. This program initiated by Career Education for Business Transformation (CEBT) focuses on the major areas of business transformation where software plays a critical role.
The most unique feature of the program is the setting up of an IBM Business Analytics Lab within the IFIM (Now Jagdish Sheth School of Management) campus, where IBM will provide relevant software for CEBT training, to address the increasing need for T Shaped skills in the global market place. The program brings together the latest software content, real-world industry experiences, hands on lab course, best practices and case studies all into a single unique education program.
Hostel
Located on a lush 2 acre campus and is located in close proximity to campus. Transportation to and from the hostel available at the campus. Completely wi-fi enabled and has well equipped single / double occupancy rooms, on first come first serve basis. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and tea served on the hostel campus.
Students interested in availing the hostel facilities may indicate so during the time of admissions.
Health Care
On call doctors are available 24X7 in the campus. Equipped with amenities in order to counter a case of emergency. Hospitals located near the campus and their services available in case student or faculty member in need .
Sports
Facilities for indoor and outdoor sports like Football, Cricket, TT, Carom, Chess, Shuttle Badminton, Gym available for the students.

JAGSOM has brought about a paradigm shift in the way that final placements conducted.
