East Point College of engineering Bangalore

East Point College of engineering Bangalore established in 1997 and is managed by the M. G. Charitable Trust. East Point Group of Institutions has a multi-disciplinary campus with a total of 12 colleges that offer courses to students in affiliation with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), VTU, and Bengaluru North University (BNU). The East Point Group of Institutions, through various colleges, offers UG, PG, and various other courses to students across the Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, and various other streams.

College is ranked seven among The Top Private Engineering Institutes in Karnataka by the Time of India Ranking Survey for 2021. The colleges under the East Point Group of Institutions approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC), Government of Karnataka (GoK), AICTE, PCI, Board of Examination Authority Pharmacy (BEAD), Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC), Indian Nursing Council (INC), The Indian Association of Physiotherapist (IAP), Pre-University Board of Karnataka (KSSEEB), and IAP and accredited by NABH and NABL. CSE, ISE and ECE courses of Easr Point Group of Institutions are accredited by NBA.

Facilities

Hostel

The college has boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

Library

Central Library, at the heart of the Campus, provides an ideal environment for intellectual inquiry with its multiple Study Spaces, Research Assistance, and Reading, Learning and Instructional Resources.

Sports

To achieve a healthier lifestyle while coping with the pressures of studying, one needs to be healthy both emotionally and physically. The campus has a number of centres for physical education and sports activities that help the students maintain fitness and develop a competitive spirit.

Cafeteria

Hygiene is of utmost importance as student’s healthy body is the goal. Provide very hygienic & homely food to our students, where in they can opt North or South Indian food. Mess facilities are also excellent.

Transportation

The college has two buses with a seating capacity of 60 students used for clinical as well as community posting.

Auditorium

College have a big spacious auditorium of 3000 sq. ft. area, where around 600 students can sit comfortably without difficulty. Also well equipped to conduct the university examination.

Clubs

No holistic development is complete without the active involvement of club activities in student life. The exposure to such activities has taken the growth of students to a new frontier. Acharya has established several clubs across all its conglomerate institutions to aid in this development. These clubs vary from nature clubs to psychology clubs to dance clubs to cine clubs and much more. Students on campus actively take part in these clubs and conduct events.
