Christ University School Of Business & Management Bangalore

Christ University School Of Business & Management Bangalore established under the vision of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, a 19th-century educational pioneer, Christ University carries forward his commitment to social reform through quality education. Founded in 1831, the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), a Catholic congregation established by Chavara, administers the university.

Christ University, originally established as Christ College in 1969, has been a frontrunner in Indian higher education.

This prestigious status culminated in Christ College being declared a Deemed to be University by the Government of India in 2008.

Excellence in Quality:

Christ University is one of the first institutions in India to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 1998. They have consistently maintained the top grade ‘A’ in the 4-point scale through subsequent accreditations in 2004 and 2016.

Library

Christ University library has a collection of 2,85,595 books,1,47,755 titles,552 periodicals,30 newspaper. Library is the member of DELNET, British Council Library, etc. It has the facility of Reprography and Plagiarism/ Similarity Check Service (Turnitin).

Hostel

Christ University has a Boys hostel within campus named Jonas Hall and a Girls Hostel named St. Kuriakose Elias Hall. Also University has Block A. B,C Residence hall near the campus for Boys and hostels by Catholic Nuns. CST Vidyabhavan for Girls outside campus. The hostels are equipped with all basic amenities for the students.

The University has various sports facility for the students, like Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton, Football etc. for the overall developments of students and infusing the sports spirit in the students.

Christ University provides excellent job placements year to year. It’s recent passing out BBA batch 2020 placement percentage was 100%. The highest salary packaged offered was 13.12 LPA for BBA batch. The lowest package offered was 3.5 LPA whereas the average package offered was around 6-7 LPA. Some of it’s top recruiters include Delloitte, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, Amazon, Brain and Company, EY. Generally, few students get internship around 10% of BBA students in companies like Goldman Sachs and DE SHAW.
