Accreditation

The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India conferred Autonomy to Christ College in 2004 and identified it as an Institution with Potential for Excellence in 2006. In 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India, declared the institution a Deemed to be University, in the name and style of Christ University. One of the first institutions in India to be accredited in 1998 by the NAAC, and subsequently in 2004 and 2016, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has the top grade ‘A’ in the 4-point scale.

Facilities

In order to encourage the students to participate in departmental activities, our university gives access to students to make use of the multiple facilities provided in the campus.

Library

Christ University library has a collection of 2,85,595 books,1,47,755 titles,552 periodicals,30 newspaper. Library is the member of DELNET, British Council Library, etc. It has the facility of Reprography and Plagiarism/ Similarity Check Service (Turnitin).

Hostel

Christ University has a Boys hostel within campus named Jonas Hall and a Girls Hostel named St. Kuriakose Elias Hall. Also University has Block A. B,C Residence hall near the campus for Boys and hostels by Catholic Nuns. CST Vidyabhavan for Girls outside campus. The hostels are equipped with all basic amenities for the students.

Sports Complex

The University has various sports facility for the students, like Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton, Football etc.
