Amrita School of Engineering Bangalore established in 2002, and offers B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. programs in a large number of disciplines. It has been accredited with the highest rating of ‘A’ by NAAC and is affiliated to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Located in Bangalore, it is one of the top ranked private universities in India and provides 95% placement to its students.

Amrita School of Engineering’s library holds about 45,880 + Collection of which, 36,000 books, 3,101 CDs & DVD’s, 2000 Back Volumes of Journals, 2000 Project Reports, 109 Engineering Journals, 46 Management Journals, 31 Technical Magazines, 65 General Magazines and 2,500+ e-Journals, e-Magazines, Conference proceedings and 28 Dailies etc.. Fully automated with LIBSOFT, an integrated Library Management Software with advanced search options. The OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) & WEBOPAC system provides easy access to the database of books, journals and e-resources. Central Library is a member of the Developing Library Network, New Delhi (DELNET-New Delhi). There are more than 4931 Institutions / Libraries covered under this network, which enables access to Inter-Library Loan services from other libraries all over India.
