Courses

BSC Nursing

Al Kareem College of Nursing Gulbarga Bsc Nursing extend over a period of 4 academic years from the date of commencement of his/ her study of the subjects comprising the nursing curriculum to the date of completion of examination. Terms and vacations shall be as notified by the university from time to time.

Admission Criteria :

1.The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
2.The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of :

Higher Secondary school certificate Examination (12 years course).

or

Senior School certificate Examination (10+2). Pre-degree Examination (10+2)

or

An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with science( Physics, Chemistry,Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE).

3. Candidate Shall be Medically Fit.

BSC Nursing (Post Basics)

Al Kareem College of Nursing Gulbarga Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PB B.Sc Nursing) is a two-year undergraduate nursing program designed for registered nurses who want to upgrade their qualifications and knowledge. The program covers a wide range of topics in nursing, including advanced nursing practice, research, and management.

Admission Criteria

1.The candidate must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects.

2.The candidate must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with a State Nursing Registration Council.

3.The candidate must have completed a three-year diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of 50% marks.

4.Also require the candidate to have a minimum of two years of work experience as a nurse after registration.

GNM

Al Kareem College of Nursing Gulbarga GNM referred as General Nursing and Midwifery it deals with the education of nurses in general health care, nursing, and midwifery. It is a 3 years long Diploma program. Academic program is 3 years long and 6 months are dedicated towards internship. Internship is mandatory. This programme will boost you in career prospects. After completing this course, successful candidates may register themselves as registered nurse or midwife with state nurse registration council.

Admission Criteria :

The contraction for the GNM course is General Nursing and Midwifery.
Karnataka GNM 2021 Eligibility Criteria

1. Successful qualification of class XII from a known educational board.
2. If possible, science subjects as the main subjects of study at the 10+2 level.
3. A total mark of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

MSC Nursing
