M.Sc. Mathematics or Master of Science in Mathematics is a postgraduate Mathematics course. Mathematics is the study of quantity, structure, space, and change. Mathematicians seek out patterns and formulate new conjectures which resolve the truth or falsity of conjectures by mathematical proofs. The duration of M.Sc. in Mathematics is mostly of two academic years but it may vary from institute to institute. M.Sc. Mathematics Eligibility
  • Candidates should have a pass B.Sc.(Mathematics) or B.Sc.( Mathematics and computer applications) degree or any other degree of other university as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for P.G admission.
  • A pass in the B.Sc. Degree with a minimum aggregate of 60% is desirable but the marks of admission for the course may vary from University to University.
