Reva School of Performing Arts and Indic Studies Bangalore(SoPA & IS) offers unique, challenging Performing Arts programmes which prepares Artist for the future. The aim of these courses is to bring in a holistic view to the performing arts’ education system in India. Course
The Reva School of Performing Arts and Indic Studies (SoPA & IS) offers courses like Certificate, Diploma, MPA (Masters of Performing Arts) and Ph.D. programmes. Our Syllabus is world-class and bench-marked. The SPA is in the beautiful campus of REVA University – which has received “Best Campus” and ‘Best upcoming University’ awards. The School of Performing Arts also concentrates on collaborating with universities abroad for short term and semester exchange programmes and on introducing Indian Performing Arts to the foreign students. Internationally acclaimed artistes visit the campus often as visiting faculty members and guest lecturers to interact with students. The performing wing at the Reva School of Performing Arts and Indic Studies (SoPA & IS) will have performing opportunities all over the country and abroad.
REVA University
REVA University became the only University in South India that offers Master of Performing Arts in various Indian classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam, Kathak and Odissi, which no other Indian University offers. The school also offers Diploma and Certificate courses in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam, Kathak and Odissi. Apart from these certificate courses, diploma and graduate programmes in vocal music and theatre arts are also offered here.
REVA is the first Private University in India that offers UGC approved graduate and postgraduate degrees in Performing Arts with specialisations in theatre, dance and music. We also have a Bachelor’s degree programme, which is a triple major in Performing Arts, English and Psychology, a unique combination that offers multiple career choices to our students.

Facilities
Academic Studio
REVA Beats is an exclusive music room, “to sharpen students” diverse talent in music, with a mix of contemporary and classical set up, and a sound proof venue.
The Architecture Studio-Gallery situated in the ‘School of Architecture has students’ works, exhibiting their contact with different elements and the resulting artwork. Apart from this there are Laboratories in each school, like science, technology and language.
Classrooms
University staff are continuously developing innovative ways of using technology to support teaching and learning through our virtual learning environment, including e-portfolios, podcasts, streaming media and online discussion groups and quizzes.
Counselling center

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is a customized software accessible to REVA students and parents, enabling student-centric services, teaching and learning in the classroom or online, automated admissions and feedback, faculty management and record organization system.
Outdoor learning
REVA University offers a unique learning environment which gives the students the best of the modern pedagogy coupled with the traditional pedagogy. The Gazebos at the campus are used generously by Schools To ensure there is open space learning apart from the teacher-learner ‘compatibility in outdoor learning.
The gazebos that have been set up with great thought and focus for students at the University campus blends outdoor learning, aligned with the Gurukul system of learning of our ancient past apart from offering an experiential earning experience. This enables the earner to be ahead of others in this competitive world. The gazebos are extensively used for one to one learning, teacher interface in a positive learning environment by selective faculty for selective courses.

We know labs are the soul when it comes to experiment & research-based engineering studies. Laboratory experiences not just provide hands-on learning, but also enhance student understanding of specific scientific facts and concepts.
Library
Central Library
The Central Library is located in the heart of the campus and is housed in an independent building with a carpet area of 3316 Sq. Mts.
The air-conditioned library has 800 seating capacity. It possesses huge collection of books & journals, both in print and e-form. The library is kept open from 8:00 am to 12 Midnight and it provides a mix of learning environments to meet different student needs. The library has gone digital with various options to make access and reading convenient.
Online access to a vast range of information, including 13000+ IEEE e- journals, conference proceedings, standards and case studies.
Media centre
Built recording studio and live broadcasting podium
To facilitate a rich learning experience that includes hands on simulated education, REVA has its own Media Centre with an in-built recording studio and live broadcasting podium.
Student housing
REVA Student Housing is a home away from home. REVA has Housing for boys and girls on the campus providing accommodation facility. ‘The Housing blocks are aesthetically built and are situated amidst lush greenery. The University also has a Guest house to facilitate parents and Guests to stay when they come to visit their wards

Transportation
REVA operates a fleet of buses to and from all parts of Bengaluru city. Public transport facility run by the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is also available near the Campus.
