Moti Mahal College of Hotel Management , Mangalore Karnataka established in 1992 by Dr. A. J. Shetty under Laxmi Memorial Education Trust. It is one of the premier hospitality Institutes in South India providing quality hospitality educations at the undergraduate level. The college is affiliated to Mangalore University, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Recognized by Govt. of Karnataka and NAAC accredited.

Aims at providing the corporate sector with professionally sound and dynamic professionals in the hotel industry who have a vision and ability to meet the challenges of the present day.

The admission procedures in our institutions are stringent. While academic records form a strong base, success in aptitude tests helps in further selection. Group Discussions and Interviews are the final deciding factors for selection. Once selected, they undergo rigorous training under the supervision of efficient and experienced faculty both within and outside the classes. Our fully equipped library, guest lectures, workshops by eminent academicians, industrialists, etc; enhance their knowledge.  

The Training and Placement Cell of our college organizes a number of training programs. As a result, the activities have proved exceptionally useful in shaping the career of students. Placements for the Final year students begin early January (Final Semester) and continue till March and sometimes till May; most importantly ensuring maximum advantage to the students. The Training and Placement Cell facilitates on-campus as well as off-campus recruitments. The college invites internationally branded Five Star hotels and other recruiters .

Moti Mahal College of Hotel Management awarded Education Excellence Award for the year 2013-14. The award ceremony  held at- The Lalith Ashok Hotel in Bangalore, and  given away by veteran cricketer Mr. VVS Laxman.

AICTE set up in 1945 as a national level Apex Advisory Body and as a statutory body. Moti Mahal college of hotel Management- approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)   an autonomous body funded by UGC that accredits Institutes of Higher Education in India. Moti Mahal College of Hotel Management – accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) since 2016.
