The KLE Society’s Law College at Bangalore has been conceived as a nursery and training ground for those seeking to enter the legal profession. Under the umbrella of Karnataka Lingayat Education Society, the college was established in 1975 to cater to the needs of young students desirous of pursuing legal education in Bangalore.
Course Offered
3 Year LL.B. Degree Course introduced and in the year 1996, a five year Integrated Degree Course in B.A. LL.B. To cater to the needs of the globalised corporate world and prospective corporate lawyers, another Five Year Integrated Course – B.B.A. LL.B. introduced in the academic year 2011-12. While many successful students of the college from its inception have occupied top positions in the society in various fields like advocacy (trial and appellate), corporate practice, chamber practice, management, government offices, etc., in the recent years most of the students have occupied pivotal positions in many corporate enterprises too. The college offers along with Undergraduate programs, various certificate and diploma courses and operates in a modern, well-equipped campus located in the heart of the city.
Facilities in KLE Society’s Law College
Library
Library is a Temple of Knowledge. Housed with 20684 volumes of Books and Back volumes. Of these 3334 Back volumes of Journals and Reporters. Procures 64 periodicals including 10 newspapers. Of these 14 are reporters, 22 Journals and remaining are the magazines.
To meet the needs of techno-buddies and to avail the fruits of technology all books and reference material bar coded with automation, service Easy-lib, providing OPAC (Open Public Access Catalogue) to search the books, research material, periodicals and to learn more about the library. Also provides photocopying facility.
Auditorium
The College has 3 auditoriums. The main auditorium with a seating capacity of 400, Sharada Sabhangana with seating capacity of 180 and Asha kirana with seating facility for 90 people.
All the auditoriums fully IT enabled with high-tech facilities ideal for the organization and supporting training programmes, meetings, workshops and conferences.
Health care
In- house medical officer is available in the campus during office hours. Student fraternity enrolled under Vidyarthi (P) scheme – KLE Belgaum Health Care Services. KLE Belgaum Healthcare Services scheme instituted primarily for extending healthcare benefits to employees and students of KLE Society’s institutions. The health plan assists in extending medical care for individuals in case of illness or accident.
Hostel
All the the facilities are available including security guard, food. The meals prepared by Rajasthani cooks. There are three meals provided and one snack with tea, milk and coffee. You can register directly from the college if you want. There is a particular staff for connecting you to the hostel. The PGs are affordable.
Placement
There are a number of companies to choose from. Campus recruitment taken place at a large number. Students become eligible for the campus to reconfirm their completion of 5th semester. Packages great from the company as offered. 89% student placed in various companies every academic year.
Internships
The internship opportunity is a given to the students on their 5th-semester studies backup. They will be giver internship for their marks in return. So this will help the students learn quickly as they do it practically more than theoretically.
