Karavali Institute of Technology Mangalore  an institution which poised to grow into a premier engineering college. At present the institute offers B.E. degree courses in seven streams: Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The institute also offers M.Tech degree in Industrial Automation & Robotics , Constructions Technology, Digital Electronics, Machine Design & Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme.

G.R. Education Trust

Karavali Group of Colleges is sponsored and managed by G. R. Education Trust (R.), a premier educational institution. Since its inception in 1996, the activities of the Trust have been spearheaded by its Founder Chairman, Mr. Ganesh S. Rao, a young entrepreneur, educationist and a well known personality. His able, efficient and dynamic leadership has won widespread appreciation and he is a recipient of several national and international awards given in recognition of his extraordinary service in the field of education, especially in untapped professional areas

Facilities

Infrastructure

Karavali Group of Colleges has excellent infrastructure spread over four independent campuses in Mangalore and Bangalore. The main campus situated along N.H.66, near Kottara Chowki in Mangalore City. All campuses area easily accessible from all parts of the city by public transport.

Library

The college has well-stocked libraries with a large number of books on subjects related to the courses taught, in addition to literary volumes, ready reference encyclopedias etc. The college subscribes to all important newspapers, magazines, national and international books and journals. The library has a separate reference room.

Faculty

The college has highly qualified and experienced professional faculty comprising doctorates and post graduates in respective fields. The college has a panel of eminent visiting faculty, who include reputed practitioners, experts and consultants. To guarantee a high quality and up-to-date study programme, guest lectures, viva and seminars organized and regular meetings held.

Hostel

The college runs separate hostels for both with all facilities within the campus. Great care taken to make the hostel a home away from home. Nutritious, hygienically prepared vegetarian and non-vegetarian food also served.

Canteen

The college has a well furnished and hygienic canteen which provides healthy and nutritious food to the students. The college canteen also has STD booth facilities.

Sports

A tennis court, basket ball and volley ball court exists in the campus, apart from a host of other facilities for indoor and outdoor games. Physical education teachers plan and execute selection and training of the right teams

Transport

A fleet of buses and vans are available to all the students commuting between colleges and the campus. Transport facility is provided to transport students to camps organized outside the campus.
