Library

 

The central University library houses the psychology and social work collections, an invaluable part of the teaching, learning, research, and service activities of the School. Librarians are on-staff to provide assistance to student researchers who wish to reference general and subject-specific print and electronic materials.

 

Laboratories

 

Psychology laboratory in CMR University is well equipped with all kinds of psychological testing and assessments. Practical experience during graduate study is important for many reasons. Provides an opportunity to apply gained knowledge in the classroom in real world setting. The psychology lab has well ventilated seating arrangement for students and all the facilities to urge them for a better experience on the platform provided by the university, with experiments ranging from assessing ones mental and cognitive skills, to addressing serious clinical issues like depression and other mental disorders with availability of Becks depression inventory and intelligence tests providing a vast array of tests that are very rarly provided in colleges like Binetkamat intelligence test kit and Weschlers intelligence scale. To add to the magnanimity there are personality testing and the widely popular projective tests like Rorschach and Thematic Apperception Test.

Placements

 

 

Placements for the U. G level students are satisfactory as the students can get work experience for a year or more than a year. But the only disappointment is that you have to sign a one-year contract with the company. Every year, companies like HP, Concentrix, TCS etc., visit the college for placements. The highest salary package offered for a UG level student is Rs. 27,000 per month. Roles like HR, Researcher, Telecalling etc., offered.
