Al Ameen Fathima College of Nursing Bijapur is a premier nursing college in Bijapur, Karnataka, India .Established by Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust ,Bangalore in the year 1998 vide Karnataka Government Order No. HFW-49 MSF/92 Dated 1.10.94 and by the Karnataka Nursing Council No.313/94.The School has been duly recognized by the Indian Nursing Council vide C No.18/722/2000-INC.

Courses

BSC Nursing

Al Ameen Fathima College of Nursing Bijapur Bsc Nursing extend over a period of 4 academic years from the date of commencement of his/ her study of the subjects comprising the nursing curriculum to the date of completion of examination. Terms and vacations shall be as notified by the university from time to time.

Admission Criteria :

1.The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
2.The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of :

Higher Secondary school certificate Examination (12 years course).

or

Senior School certificate Examination (10+2). Pre-degree Examination (10+2)

or

An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with science( Physics, Chemistry,Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE).

3. Candidate Shall be Medically Fit.

Post Basics BSC Nursing

Al Ameen Fathima College of Nursing Bijapur Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PB B.Sc Nursing) is a two-year undergraduate nursing program designed for registered nurses who want to upgrade their qualifications and knowledge. The program covers a wide range of topics in nursing, including advanced nursing practice, research, and management.

Admission Criteria

1.The candidate must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects.

2.The candidate must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with a State Nursing Registration Council.

3.The candidate must have completed a three-year diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of 50% marks.

4.Also require the candidate to have a minimum of two years of work experience as a nurse after registration.

GNM

Al Ameen Fathima College of Nursing Bijapur GNM referred as General Nursing and Midwifery it deals with the education of nurses in general health care, nursing, and midwifery. It is a 3 years long Diploma program. Academic program is 3 years long and 6 months are dedicated towards internship. Internship is mandatory. This programme will boost you in career prospects. After completing this course, successful candidates may register themselves as registered nurse or midwife with state nurse registration council.

Admission Criteria :

The contraction for the GNM course is General Nursing and Midwifery.
Karnataka GNM 2021 Eligibility Criteria

1. Successful qualification of class XII from a known educational board.
2. If possible, science subjects as the main subjects of study at the 10+2 level.
3. A total mark of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Scientific Research Committe

Scientific Research Committe Al-Ameen Medical College, Vijayapur has been formed as follows. The research committee will look in to matter related to research activities.

Hostel

Both the hostels 24 hours electricity. In case of power failure hostels are having own generators. It has its own water supply facility. All the hostels are provided solar heater which supply warm water round the clock. At Bibi Khatija Ladies Hostel each rooms are provided with attach bathroom and toilet.

Sports

The Institution lays special emphasis on sports activities, Several students of the Medical and Dental college have represented the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in various games and sports events.
The campus has facilities for all the out door games like cricket,football,volley ball,basket ball,throw ball with 200 mt.track.
An Indoor sports complex with facilities for carom,chess,table tennis and gymnasium is available.

The Institutions have 03 omnibuses,01 Dental Mobile bus,01 Community Medicine van and 01 Car for the transport of faculty.

Qualified and experienced security personnels are employed by the Management for the safety and security of all the institutions, Hospitals and Hostels. The most of these personnels are Ex-Servicemen.

Al-Ameen Campus provides a well equiped maintenance department which looks after major and minor repair works at hostels,colleges and hospitals.Maintenance department also monitors round the clock power supply and gardens.
