With stable and high-speed connectivity to the Internet that ensures speedy access, the campus is completely connected with the WiFi network. A laptop is compulsorily provided to all the students

Library

 

IBA’s library is one of the largest libraries dedicated to a single Management Programme.

The library subscribes to over 60 International Journals such as Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review, etc. and 110 National leading Management Journals. IBA Library has over 12500 books, 8000 titles, 700 A/v, 5000+ E-Journals, 23000+ E-Dissertation, over 80 International & National Magazines and 13 Newspapers. The Library has a large number of select reference books on management and other related areas. It also has a vast collection of Case studies selected from leading journals and research papers. Faculty and students can access the online journals – current as well as past – through the electronic database.

A separate Audio/Video media room with a DVD player is provided in the library for students to explore various aspects of management.

Students have the option of either utilizing the audio/visual material stocked in the library or bring in material from other sources.

Class Rooms

 

IBA has different categories of classrooms to meet all the requirements. It has a State-of-the-art 300 seater fully equipped Auditorium and 2 auditoriums, which are 100 seaters. Apart from that, there are 13 classrooms with different seating arrangements like seminar-style, classroom, and board room style.

 

Hostel

 

IBA provides in-campus exclusive residential facilities for boys and girls with round-the-clock security. Considering the comfort and needs of students, the campus has various options for residents like double rooms, triple rooms, single rooms with attached and common bathrooms. Functionally furnished, each room has a cot, a study desk with a chair, and a built-in wardrobe. Completely vegetarian (adjacent to the residences) that serves hygienic food to its residents. Breakfast, lunch, evening tea, and dinner is served every day during fixed hours.

Accommodation for participants who do short term MDP/training programmes is also provided on the campus.

 

Sports

 

The campus has facilities like Cricket, Basketball, and Volleyball courts among outdoor games along with Table tennis and Carrom equipment among indoor games in the Sports Complex. The sports complex also consists of a state-of-the-art modern Gymnasium for fitness enthusiasts.

The IBA campus also houses an Amphitheatre that serves as host to cultural events like Archish, Kalakshetra, Festival celebrations, etc.

 

Campus

 

IBA campus has a distinctive atmosphere where the emphasis is on teamwork, cooperation, and friendly competition. Classrooms are designed such that they lead to students developing closer relationships with each other and faculty members. Students work together in study groups and are genuinely supportive of one another, and form professional relationships that last long after graduation.

The Banglore campus symbolises what the city stands for, While its 8.5 acres lush greenery reflects the Garden City, its hi-tech environment lives up to the Silicon Valley tag. Located in the most happening southern part – the Knowledge and IT Corridor of Banglore, it catalyses the industry interface and academic inflow. The setting also changes the emotional quotient of the students, thanks to the proximity to the world-famous AOL Centre.

 

Clubs

 

At IBA Bangalore, learning not only happens in the classroom but also through the activities organized by the various student clubs. Every specialization has its own club. Every year these clubs become the catalyst for enhancing subject knowledge through workshops, games, quizzes, presentations, guest lectures, etc. Student clubs in IBA are managed entirely by by students with guidance from their respective faculty mentors.

 

Retail Club

 

Barcodes’ is the Retail Club at IBA. Started by batch 07-09 and since then, their legacy  carried forward by the subsequent batches. The Club conducts activities on the Retail sector like sessions by eminent personalities from the corporate world, Webinars, Jargons Session etc. One of the few clubs at IBA that have managed to invite live projects for students on their own. One of the more remarkable events that the club has conceptualized is the event WARCODES – A War between Connoisseurs. The event is an inter-club competition in which participants asked to work on the launch of a product and present their work and ideas with the aid of PowerPoint, Video, or by an act.

 

Finance club

 

Finance club at IBA holds regular meetings that strengthen the students’ knowledge in the field of Capital Markets, Securities, Derivatives, and Finance on the whole. In the past, they have organised lectures on topics like Economic Fundamentals, Past & Present Foreign Exchange arrangements, Foreign Direct Investment, etc. among others. A series of presentations on Financial Markets, Equity Markets, and Debt & Money markets have also been taken.

 

Business Quiz club

 

Cosmos – The Business Quiz club of IBA Bangalore started in 2005 by the students of 2004-06 batch with the aim that when all the clubs are focusing on specialization knowledge, there should be a club to enhance the overall business acumen of a student. Conducting quizzes in various forms increases General awareness, business spectrum & on domain subject knowledge. The COSMOS (Business Quiz) Club of IBA Bangalore, encourages the spirit of quizzing and creates a thirst for knowledge. It prepares teams for participation in various competitions. Along with these, COSMOS creates awareness on various issues and current updates.

 

Information Technology club

 

Infin’IT is the Information Technology club of IBA that started in the year 2004. Infin’IT is the only club that provides certification courses to students and its club members. The club helps students gain skills that will make them more technologically effective and employable. They support in setting up and maintaining systems and networks for various IBA projects.

 

Marketing Club

 

The Marketing Club of IBA is a student-oriented club for those who share a passion for Marketing, those who are creative and who dare to be different. Managed by a group of 14 students along with a faculty mentor Hunterz Ignite is a platform that aids the making of Marketing as an interesting subject and brings related topics beyond the horizons of textbooks. The club focuses on providing exposure to the marketing brains .

 

HR club

 

HR club was started with a focus on providing the best guidance for HR management in terms of capability, visibility, responsiveness & self-actualization. The club provides a whole lot of opportunities to students by challenging them with debates, quizzes, group discussions, role-plays, resume writing sessions, mock interviews. Spandan believes in culling out the best of the best to win laurels for IBA.

 

Communication Club

 

The club functions to create awareness of the basic skills of communication to enhance performance & personality levels.

 

Operations Club

 

OM club  launched in the year 2008, and since then, it has undergone quite a few changes. Started to bring something new to the table, knowledge beyond . OM now focuses on creating and magnifying the opportunities around us and generating more value for its members. It will help its members in identifying the complexities that one comes across during management education and make it simpler to navigate across.
