Mangala College of Para Medical Sciences Mangalore under the management of Mangala Charitable Trust(R), Mangalore is situated at Vidyanagar, Pedamale, Neerumarga, Mangalore – 575029, a place well connected by bus routes to all destinations. The Para Medical Courses together with the Nursing Courses offered by Mangala Charitable Trust contribute not only towards divers health needs of the local people, but also caters to qualify patient care as well as towards preparing quality health care personnel for the entire country and abroad. Designed to provide a balance of professional and general education and to enable students become para medical technicians and professional nurses.
Clinical Experiences
The students are provided clinical experience in Mangala Hospital & Mangala Kidney Foundation and other hospitals – Yenepoya Medical College Hospital, Raj Pathology Laboratory and Mallikatta Neuro Center. All these institutions provide training for multi disciplinary clinical experience in the course concerned.
The students will have wide clinical exposure from Government Wenlock Hospital & Lady Goschen Hospital which is the largest general hospital in Dakshina Kannada District having both surgical and medical department.
All Para medical practical training in the variety and a number of cases attended in all these hospitals and laboratories have become a great boon to the students training.
Laboratory
The general laboratory fully equipped to conduct several biochemical, heamatological, and microbiological investigations. Anatomy and physiological laboratories also well equipped with the Para Medical Art Lab
Library
The college has good library with relevant reference and issue books written by both foreign and Indian authors. Latest health related magazines, newsletters, CDs and other I T materials are available for reference. Qualified professionals manage library.
The entire atmosphere of the library is just right for the students to study and prepare themselves
Transportation
Transportation facilities also provided at extra cost for students to reach the hospitals from the school
Hostels
Separate hostels for both boys & girls very close to the college premises with essential furniture and fixtures are provided. Also, mess, hot water, telephone, television, and other modern facilities are available for inmates.
The students will be under the direct supervision of the competent wardens.
Food Court
Canteen facility (Veg & Non Veg) is available in the Campus for both students and staff
Scholarship
