Courses

 

Leela College of Nursing offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) program. This program equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become registered nurses. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics in nursing, including:

Anatomy and Physiology

Pharmacology

Pathophysiology

Medical-Surgical Nursing

Maternal and Child Health Nursing

Mental Health Nursing

Community Health Nursing

 

Admission Criteria

 

Minimum age: 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year.

Education: Pass one of the following exams with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English):

Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12th grade)

Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2)

Pre-degree Examination (10+2)

Equivalent exam with 12 years of schooling from a recognized board/university

Medical fitness is mandatory.

 

Additional Programs

 

Leela College of Nursing also offers the following programs:

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing: This two-year program is designed for registered nurses who want to upgrade their qualifications.

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): This three-year diploma program prepares students for careers in general healthcare, nursing, and midwifery.

The college has boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

Well-stocked library with resources for nursing students.

 

Cafeteria

 

Hygiene is of utmost importance as student’s healthy body is the goal. Provide very hygienic & homely food to our students, where in they can opt North or South Indian food. Mess facilities are also excellent with a large dining area and filter water for drinking.

 

Auditorium

 

Large auditorium with a 3000-square-foot capacity, well-equipped stage with tables, chairs, music system, and decorative items. The auditorium can comfortably seat around 600 students, making it suitable for various college events, seminars, guest lectures, and cultural programs. It’s also equipped with CCTV cameras for conducting university examinations with peace of mind.

 

Lab

 

Has dedicated lab facilities for each specific department within the nursing program. This likely includes core labs for foundational nursing practices, such as fundamental skills labs equipped with mannequins, simulation equipment, and practice stations for medication administration, injections, wound care, and other essential procedures.
