KVG Institute of Physiotherapy Sulia, One of the top physiotherapy college in Karnataka .The founder president Dr. Kurunji Venkataramana Gowda started his medical carrier through hospital in the year 2002. His vision od imparting quality higher education to underprivileged societies led to embarkment of his journey in 1996 through KVG Ayurveda Medical College. As the institution flourished KVG Medical College and Hospital was established in 2002. This was followed by amercement of numerous sister institutions one of which is KVG Institute of Physiotherapy.

 

 

Physiotherapy

 

Physiotherapy stands for treatment through physical means. It focuses on the science of movement, pain and helps people to restore, maintain, improve their function and overall well-being. It is an essential arm of medical science that concentrates on healing process. Body’s dysfunction or disorders  managed by hands-on adjustments, hands off therapies, electrical modalities like IFT, US, LASER, dry needling, taping and so on.

Physiotherapy promote ability to move and prevents disability. By emphasizing on fitness and wellness, we work towards developing a healthier and active lifestyle. It has proven to be effective in treating ailments cardiovascular & Pulmonary musculoskeletal, Neurology, sports Medicine, Paediatrics, Geriatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and other specialties.

 

 

Aim

 

To provide Clinical, academic and research modality of highest standard to serve the students, patients in particular and society  in general.

This is within the ambit  of Indian ethos & environment so as to contribute to the world’s progress and fulfill its vision.
