BNM Institute Of Technology Bangalore (BNMIT) stands as a testament to the vision of the Bhageerathi Bai Narayana Rao Maanay Charities. Fueled by a commitment to social equity, the institute’s founders, Shri. N. Raghunath Rao Maanay and Prof. Sunanda P. Jadhav, sought to break down barriers to quality education.

Facilities

 

 

Main Block

The main block with a grandiose look is meant for the Administrative Offices of the Secretary, the Director, the Additional Director, the Dean and the Principal. It also has Board room, the Departments of Computer Science & Engineering and Information Science & Engineering. Besides, the main block has Makers Lab, a Reprographic Centre, Data Centre, Seminar Hall, College Office, Girls common room, Faculty common room and a Dispensary to take care of the day- to- day happenings efficaciously. All the departments are very well equipped, functional and approachable, using spacious stairs and lifts.

New Block

The new colossal block has the Departments of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Physical Education. It also has Workshop, ED Cell, NewGen IEDC, Incubation Centre, Friend’s Corner, Seminar Halls and Gymnasium as the major attractions.

Auditorium Block

 

This block has the Departments of Master of Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Training and Placement and Basic Science. The well-constructed auditorium inaugurated by the gracious hands of Dr. A P J Abdul Kalaam with a seating capacity of more than 800 spectators to conduct programs The block has Toyota Centre of Excellence, cosy Seminar Halls and Indoor Games with adequate facilities and so  the cynosure and Centres of attractions.

 

Library

 

Circulation and Digital library stocked with 9584 Titles, 40558 Volumes, 112 and 31 National & International journals, over 1450 bound volumes, 1405 learning CD-ROMS, several Data Books, Project Reports, Micro documents, etc., automated through EPAC facility and member to INDEST consortium and NPTEL as well. It also includes a Reading hall with seating capacity of 150 members at a time.
