BMS Institute of Technology and Management



BMS Institute of Technology and Management established in 2002 and located in Bangalore. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, and recognized by AICTE and NBA. BMSITM is a private institute that scored a high rank of 169 in NIRF. The admission to BMSITM is based on the entrance exam or score secured in the previous course. It is a famous Engineering college, which ensures placements for every student.





Network Infrastructure


Internet facility has been crucial in the evolution of our education system in many ways. In order to support its employees and students with best IT infrastructure, BMSIT&M has established one of its the best, robust network infrastructure in 2019-2020 to facilitate reliable and high speed internet service to both Students, Faculty and Researchers at the campus and BMSIT&M Hostels.


hostel life in BMSIT&M offers many entertaining activities. An annual fest “Kalarava” a colourful event filled with cultural and sports activities. This program is organized to encourage the hostel students in co-curricular activities includes sports and cultural events. From singing, dancing, fashion show to cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, chess, volleyball and fun filled activities like tug of war, dumb charades and many more, Kalarava has it all. There are several sports tournaments in hostel like HPL for cricket and FPL for football. All these events and activities are for the merriment and relaxation of the students residing in hostels. To ensure they are in their comfort zone. All the festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, Holi and many more  celebrated by the hostel inmates with a lot of enthusiasm as one would, back at home. The environment provided ensures such an innervation.


Sport is a very competitive field; without proper sports facilities we cannot expect high level performance. Sports performance is mainly based on scientific way of coaching & training. Training may require various means & methods.

It is a dream of a trainer and a trainee to have all kind of standard sports facilities in one campus many institutions are producing high quality sports facilities in India. Youths will attract with quality sports facilities and such playgrounds are like ornaments to the campus.




Established several clubs and associations across all its conglomerate departments to aid in this development. These clubs vary from nature clubs to psychology clubs to dance clubs to cine clubs and much more. Students on campus actively take part in these clubs and conduct events to engage students in various activities. The effort of the nature watch club through tree plantation, seed bombing, vermi composting, rainwater harvesting, etc., has recognised by AICTE with the award for the best green campus. Civil Defence has actively undertaking CSR activities, from helping improve quality of life in villages to visiting old age homes and orphanages spreading smiles.


Placement & Training Cell


The Placement and Training Cell  established during the year 2004. The very first batch of graduated students placed from the campus in 2005-06. The PT Cell is fully sustained and provides complete placement solutions to the students of the institute and BMSIT&M has a good placement track record among the top ranked engineering colleges in Bengaluru.

There has been a steady increase in the number of recruiting organizations since its establishment and at present we have 150+ organizations where in BMSIT&M alumni are making a difference, both to the glory of the organization and institute, bringing an active change in the society.

A complete training solution is provided involving in-house faculty members, outsourced training partners and industry interactions. The students also motivated to choose their career through interactions with the experienced alumni.
