AECS Maaruti College of Nursing Bangalore started in 2002 by Amrith Educational And CulturalSociety. The college has B.Sc (nursing), M.sc (nursing) in Community nursing, Medsurgical Nursing, Childcare nursing, Obstetrics & Gynaecological nursing & Psychiatric nursing. The college has addedanother feather to it’s cap in the year 2022 by becoming the P.H.D study centre in Medsurgical nursing for Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences, Bangalore.  college was started with the objective of training the students to become competent nurses for first level positions in nursing, to provide quality care in hospitals and to community and thereby contributing to health care of our nation.

 

 

 

Courses

 

 

BSC Nursing

 

AECS Maaruti College of Nursing Bangalore Bsc Nursing extend over a period of 4 academic years from the date of commencement of his/ her study of the subjects comprising the nursing curriculum to the date of completion of examination. Terms and vacations shall be as notified by the university from time to time.

 

Admission Criteria :

 

1.The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
2.The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of :

Higher Secondary school certificate Examination (12 years course).

or

Senior School certificate Examination (10+2). Pre-degree Examination (10+2)

or

An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with science( Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE).

3. Candidate Shall be Medically Fit.

 

 

Post Basics BSC Nursing

 

AECS Maaruti College of Nursing Bangalore Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PB B.Sc Nursing) is a two-year undergraduate nursing program designed for registered nurses who want to upgrade their qualifications and knowledge. The program covers a wide range of topics in nursing, including advanced nursing practice, research, and management.

 

Admission Criteria

 

1.The candidate must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects.

2.The candidate must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with a State Nursing Registration Council.

3.The candidate must have completed a three-year diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of 50% marks.

4.Also require the candidate to have a minimum of two years of work experience as a nurse after registration.

 

 

GNM

 

AECS Maaruti College of Nursing Bangalore GNM referred as General Nursing and Midwifery it deals with the education of nurses in general health care, nursing, and midwifery. 3 years long Diploma program. Academic program 3 years long and 6 months dedicated towards internship. Internship mandatory. This programme will boost you in career prospects. After completing this course, successful candidates may register themselves as registered nurse or midwife with state nurse registration council.

 

Admission Criteria :

 

The contraction for the GNM course is General Nursing and Midwifery.
Karnataka GNM  Eligibility Criteria

1. Successful qualification of class XII from a known educational board.
2. If possible, science subjects as the main subjects of study at the 10+2 level.
3. A total mark of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

 

 

Msc Nursing
