Cauvery College of Nursing is situated in Mysuru in Karnataka state of India. Established in 2004, CCN is a Private college. The college is accredited by AICTE. Cauvery College of Nursing offers 7 courses across 2 streams namely Paramedical, Nursing.

Cauvery College of Nursing has become one of the premier Nursing College in Karnataka. In addition Post graduate courses were started in the year 2008. With Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences approval for all the five M.Sc. Nursing specialty subjects. With increasing demand, P.B.B.Sc course also started in the year 2008 with approval. Therefore till now Cauvery College of Nursing has completed 17years in Nursing education & also trained more than 2500 students .

Nursing

Nursing means not only treating patients who are sick and injured, but also offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families, taking care of paperwork (lots and lots of paperwork), helping doctors diagnose patients and thus providing advice and follow-up care. They are the medical category like doctors which cannot be replaced by another profession. Thus they have a different position in the society like Doctors.

Courses

Diploma In Nursing (G.N.M)

Eligibility

Diploma in Nursing is a 3-year full-time diploma level program in Nursing Administration. The eligibility criteria require qualifying the 10+2 examination in any relevant stream with an aggregate of 50% marks and above from a recognized board.

BSc. Nursing

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate course. In addition , minimum eligibility criterion for pursuing this course is the successful completion of 10+2 level of education in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

BSc Nursing (Post Basic):

Firstly , Candidates should clear Class 12th from a recognised board preferably in Science stream. Candidates should be registered as Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) Candidates should  also possess a three-year diploma in General nursing and Midwifery (GNM).

MSc. Nursing:

Eligibility to apply for the course is qualifying B.Sc Nursing under graduation from any recognized university.

Our Library also provide good services to all students during examination.
