Aditya College of Nursing(ACN) established in 2003 and is progressing steadily. The college is located in Kogilu Main Road, Yelahanka , Bengaluru with an exclusive Four storied building having all infrastructures that are required to prepare a competent nurse. The college is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and State Nursing Council, Karnataka and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
Aim
The main aim of this institution is to maintain the standards to provide quality nursing education, inculcate the highest professional skills and to prepare students to work at the national and international level.
Renowned faculty, well equipped laboratories, seminar halls and a tradition of innovative leadership, auditorium, digital library with Wi-Fi internet facility, good exposure to clinical area and other facilities have to lead the college of Nursing ranking as one of the best nursing college in locality. Our graduates are sought after as highly skilled professionals who have received a rigorous education of highest quality and the 100% results in the university examination by our student speaks of the institution reputation.
Objectives
Our goal is to be the national leader among academic health centers of Nursing. We are building on our traditional mission of that of patient care, education and research by:
- Creating innovation in nursing and delivery of health care.
- Educating nurses in an appropriate learning environment to be efficient and safe practitioners by adapting our organization to the changing environment.
- Working collaboratively as partners in the delivery of health care with nursing colleagues in hospital and college and with other professional colleagues.

COMPUTER LAB
HOSTEL
ACON hostel offers comfortable stay for the students within the campus during their course of study. The hostel is clean and comfortable, and each room is provided with adequate facilities for stay and study. The hostel has a Visitors’ Lounge, Recreation Hall, Study Hall, Prayer Hall facilities for Indoor Games, Magazines Reading and Television. Mess facilities are available with a well maintained dining hall adjacent to the hostel and preparing multi cuisines Vegetarian/ Non-Vegetarian meals hygienically and served aesthetically.
SEMINAR HALL
The seminar hall is spacious, well ventilated with facilities such as LCD and OHP projectors, screens, white-boards for delivering lectures
LIBRARY
ACN has a spacious library with 3350 books . Every year we purchase 200 to 300 books. Students are encouraged to avail other facilities like e-mail, internet, CD-ROM browsing & photocopying. Separate reading space has been provided to both the students and faculty. Separate accession register is maintained for books, journals, thesis, and projects and for CD-ROM’s and offers access to online medical literature through the HELINET for International and Indian journals are subscribed along with RGUHS -Nursing and e-journals.
AUDITORIUM
A well-equipped auditorium with seating for over 1000 people serves as the venue for the regular conferences, workshops and seminars as a part of the learning process.

SPORTS AND RECREATION
- The college provides sports and recreation activities for the students through the department of Physical education. The sports facilities includes outdoor games like Volleyball, Basket Ball, Hand Ball, Tennis, Shuttle and Ball Badminton and indoor games like Table Tennis, Caroms and Chess.
- Also a large play ground for athletic and field events like running, shot put, Javelin and Discuss throw.

NSS
Primary focus on the development of personality of students through community service.
National Service Scheme is an Indian Government sponsored programme under the Department of Youth Affairs & Sports of the Government of India. Launched in Gandhiji’s Centenary year, 1969, aimed at “Developing Student’s Personality Through Community Service”. NSS Unit thus recognized by RGUHS and the state NSS.
SNA ( STUDENT NURSES ASSOCIATION )
The Student Nurses Association, popularly known as SNA, the only National level associate organization of the TNAI (Trained Nurses Association of India) for student nurses established in the year 1929 at the time of annual conference of the TNAI in Madras. SNA is an association aiming at the overall development of each student nurse with the ultimate motive of the development of the Nursing Profession and accredit them to join TNAI as qualified nurses.

The Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) a National Professional Association of Nurses established in 1922.
Placement
ACN students exposed to various campus interviews conducted by reputed organizations in and around Bangalore, major cities India in the month of June/July every year. After successful completion of course students are either take up their career at selected hospitals or at ACN. In 2015 57 % of our students placed through campus recruitment.
