Facilities in Acharya Institute of Allied Health Sciences
All efforts are constantly put in to provide the best facilities for residents living in Acharya Halls of Residence. Every resident has access to a wide range of activities, facilities and support on the campus. Besides the regular Residence’s dining facilities, there are affordable food services within the campus that provide inexpensive and easily accessible lunch or evening snack options. Acharya Institutes, with its beautiful landscape and carefully tended gardens, provide an ideal environment for a congenial learning experience and encourage to participate in various committees in Hall Events such as Cultural, Discipline, Sports, Mess, and Maintenance. We make total efforts to make our residents feel “At Home” during their stay.
Housing
Acharya Halls of Residence runs 12 Residences (05 for Boys and 07 for Girls), with the capacity for 1500 residents, who can be accommodated in a single, double, three bedded rooms and common areas with TV and Newspaper. Residents can avail themselves of the sports facilities, horse- riding and other facilities. Well-equipped Laundry services are provided for residents. Each Residence is managed under the supervision of the Chief Warden and Deputy Warden, who are the faculty members of Acharya along with the assistance of Managers and Supervisors.
Dining
Dining halls are maintained with highly mechanized Kitchen and hygienic cooking infrastructure. We serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Menu is prepared according to the food habits and tastes of residents. Mess Committee (comprising of Hostel Authority, Mess Manager and Leaders from Students) meet every month to discuss the menu and decide the same for the following month. International students have the option to choose existing mess facility or to cook for themselves in a separate kitchen facility provided in the international student hostel.
Acharya Residence Life – Blocks
To begin with, the housing (hostel) facilities are made as ‘homely’ as possible. With choices of single/shared furnished occupancies with or without kitchenettes. The life at the hostel is an extension of the academic pursuit of hte student. It helps them grow with a proper mix of care, discipline and personal space under the supervision of a warden. The large capacity laundromat, state of the art kitchen, backup electric power, solar powered energy, purified drinking water, WiFi connectivity, on-campus medical and ambulance facility ensure a hassle-free life for the students.
Academic Studios
An Academic Studio is a specially designed laboratory for Architecture and Designing Students, and at Acharya, we are determined to offer the pre-eminent, which is why we have come up with superlative learning solutions.
Learning Studios place learners in the position of defining the problems they want to solve and designing solutions for them. Through powerful technology, students can engage in activities and projects that expose them to skills and strategies like design thinking, engineering, and digital communication.
Counselling Center
Acharya has a top-notch Counselling Center, which provides services like individual counselling, group counselling, and offers a wide range of career-related programs for students. Outbound Learning
Through the use of Experiential Learning Activities and Games, along with other Learning Principles, Outbound Training to increase student effectiveness and performance.
Hence list a set of activities that convoluted in the outbound learning session at Acharya. Students Boot Camping experience, where students get to employ some time away from campus, in order to augment countless personality skills. Speaking about abilities, the most important skills in a student displays in comportment and conversation. That is why Acharya trains the students in soft skills, communication skills, Games, Leadership skills and many more under Outbound Learning.
Classrooms
Acharyaoffer the best to its students, in consequence .Acharya staff continuously develop innovative ways of using technology to support teaching and learning through online and offline learning environments, including e-portfolios, podcasts, streaming media and online discussion groups and quizzes. Physical classrooms and laboratories offer smart classrooms with technological enhancements, including interactive whiteboards and classroom response systems that can improve students’ and staff’s overall learning and explaining experience.As part of Acharya’s learning process, we use a Learning Management System To ensure a quality learning environment for students, the institute has well-appointed classrooms. A variety of IT infrastructure, Computers, Internet facilities, and audio-visual aids augment the classroom pedagogy. Clubs
No holistic development is complete without the active involvement of club activities in student life. The exposure to such activities has taken the growth of students to a new frontier. Acharya has established several clubs across all its conglomerate institutions to aid in this development. These clubs vary from nature clubs to psychology clubs to dance clubs to cine clubs and much more. Students on campus actively take part in these clubs and conduct events to engage students in various activities. The effort of the nature watch club through tree plantation, seed bombing, vermi composting, rainwater harvesting, etc., for instance recognised by AICTE with the award for the second-best green campus. iCare actively undertaking CSR activities, from helping improve quality of life in villages to visiting old age homes and orphanages spreading smiles, the i-Care group of Acharya one of the most socially active clubs in the city.
NCC
National Cadet Corps popularly known as NCC, a student wing of Indian Armed Forces having headquarters at New Delhi. NCC headed by Directorate of General at New Delhi. NCC has three wings called Army, Naval and Air Wing operates across India with 17 directorates. Directorates divided into Groups, Battalion for the effective operations to accomplish the vision, Also called as second armed forces. The Educational Institutions plays a vital in aligning NCC with Armed Forces. The Coys headed by Associate NCC Officers (ANO) trained at Officers Training Academy (OTA) under Indian Army and commissioned as Lieutenant.

Training
Acharya Institutes has a centralised training department dedicated to ensure quality training to boost the employability of the students. The ‘Assess, Develop, Assess, Customise’ (ADAC) strategy of the placement department has ensured that the quality of our students’ employable skills have grown significantly. The same also reflected via the increase in the highest package offered to them. The training department ensures the holistic development of the student through various domains, soft skills and aptitude training sessions. This has enabled us to bridge the gap between industry and academia.
Acharya Institute of Technology has an exclusive Training Department which takes care of the training needs of all its constituent institutions. In order to make the students industry ready, they need to have skills compatible to the requirements of the industry. Based on the same, some interventions also required. Hence, accordingly the interventions are in the form of imparting Career Oriented skills pertaining to aptitude, communication, analytical reasoning, problem solving along with the basic technical skills relevant to their domain of expertise.
